Another reason given by boat owners is that the noise generated by their electric boats is a lot less than those that are powered by gasoline. This helps the environment because it helps to lessen noise pollution. No one needs to complain about the noise generated by these boats for the simple reason that they do not create any excessive noise. Those who enjoy trolling find this a very attractive benefit as well. They become more successful in their endeavor because there is hardly any noise that they will have to deal with. Electric boats are also environment friendly. Both the air and the water remain cleaner. Gas powered motors often emit noxious fumes that damage the environment. Because of electric boats, the amount of fumes and smoke that are released into the air are greatly lessened. Electric boats also do not run the risk of leaking gas into our waters.
