How can I easily upgrade the engine on my Sea-Doo GTX 155hp jetski?
I currently have a 2008 Sea-Doo GTX (155 hp) model jetski. I am looking to put a little more power into it. Does anyone know any minor upgrades I can do to the engine to give it a little more horsepower or upgrades in general? I’m majoring in mechanical engineering and want to do some hands-on work to the engine, or at least bring it into a professional and learn some stuff along the way. Any suggestions big or small would be helpful. Also if you could provide links to specific parts or websites so that I know the parts are compatible with my model. Thanks!
A good website is sea-doo.net for that. They have all the answers and you can call perry performance group and they’ll set you up with a stage 1 or 2 performance package which usually includes different impeller, intake grate, and air filter for starters. You won’t get much out of that machine though unless you want to spend big bucks. I’d rather trade up to the 215 HP RXP or RXT.
